The miners had two options in this situation. Either look for a new place to mine cryptocurrencies, or stop their activities. I think that this ban forced many miners to stop their activities.

So the “mining is very efficient and you win a lot of money even if it uses a lot of electricity which is not cheap” works only when you don’t have to pay electricity and transfer that burden to others ? lol
Really worst than a useless thing, because not only it’s useless (no one pay with it but narcos and people claiming they bought with it should stop considering their nfts as something they bought), it generates no money but waste it while being a disaster for ecology. This is on par with american burning gas in their car for fun.
