I guess when you have child labor to manufacture them and slave labor to mine the components, you can get more chargers built at a cheaper cost.

This is the diff between American corporate resistance to change and a laser focused communist govt who can mandate change (and funding).
China also has a huge pollution problem so they are incentivized to make changes to avoid chronic health issues.
Does EVs help with pollution? Everytime I mention it people say only stopping air travel would help get enough carbon levels down
If the auto lobbyists can force the government to drag their feet on EV infrastructure then they can keep pushing the narrative that they are not reliable cars.
