Proof Romania and friends have only themselves to blame for bad performance on these types of economic etc maps.
Somehow I don’t expect vaccination loonies to be very good at excel, sorting trash or financial literacy.
It looks bad but at least for The Netherlands hospitalizations are relatively low. These infection rates are kinda expected with almost all restrictions removed. Due to vaccinations these infections shouldn’t lead to major problems.

That coloring scheme is just silly. Why merge positive test rate and identification in one color? If *more* people test, while not symptomatic, the positivity rate goes down, making the region more green, that’s just nonsensical.
This new wave was always going to hit hard in October due to Autumn season. Hopefully it’s not as bad as last year.

We in Lithuania actually had a minor shooting yesterday due to covid restrictions.
So an armed guy walks into a grocery store and is politely reminded to cover his face with a mask. He refuses so the security guard gets involved to help sort things out. It all escalates to the point where a guy shoots the security guard in the foot. The guard ends up in the hospital and the guy ends up in the cell.
All this is seen more or less as an influence of one particular philosopher who is anti-vax, has a sizeable following in the social media after she put a post on Facebook saying those who require our local covid pass at the entrance of a building (so basically innocent security guards) need to be punished and shown hostility or something like that.
The problem is, that lunatic (the philosopher – social media influencer) is not alone. There are a dozen of her kind. And so we are dark red (black according to our local measurements).

Idk, but in my opinion countried with over 75% people vaccinated shouldn’t use positive tests anymore in order to evaluate their situation.
The testing itself needs to stop over the next year. We’ve done everything we can, there is nothing else to do and like this we will never exit the current situation.

I simply cannot believe that there are still cases…it is suspicious even. I know many people that are vaccinated and respected the rules. The virus should’ve gone extinct by now. Now, I start to think that this is only about politics and unfinished business of banks and other industries. Fuck this shit.
