Nurdles also attract and bind chemical contaminants found in the sea to their surface making them potentially even more dangerous they could contain toxic substances which could therefore have certain repercussions on the forer which could ingest these pellets but also on the people who are currently going to
The beach as volunteers and who are handling these pellets the Spanish government and the local authorities have been trading blame over the slow response time to the Environmental disaster while State prosecutors have launched an investigation into its Origins
Countless tiny plastic pellets are washing up on the shores of northern Spain and local authorities declared an environmental emergency on Tuesday after a shipping container fell off a transport vessel last month. The regional governments of Galicia, which bears the brunt of the pollution, and neighboring Asturias region asked Spain’s national government to help. Spanish state prosecutors on Monday opened an investigation into the incident.
