Today, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe unanimously approved a resolution calling on member states to recognize Russia’s deportation of Ukrainian children as genocide against the Ukrainian people.
The document urges national parliaments of Council of Europe member states to condemn war crimes against children and acknowledge deportations, forcible transfers, and unjustifiable delays in repatriating Ukrainian children as crimes of genocide.
It underscores the immediate need to repatriate these children to Ukraine, emphasizing that the longer the delay, the greater the risk of their not being located, exposed to a new culture and language, and subjected to psychological and/or physical aggression.
The resolution also asserts that Ukrainian children under temporary protection in the EU “need to receive education and healthcare, including mental health support, that are tailored to their specific situation, to maintain their connections with their language and culture, which will facilitate their future return to Ukraine.”
Will there be any consequences for Russia?..
It’s literally in the ***definition*** of genocide. Not sure why there is any debate happening over this. 🙄
I mean, definitions (a), (b) and (c) ***ALSO*** apply…
Wtf are they doing voting resolutions with an empty pairlaiment? I see the result on this one being pretty unanimous all the same, but still, wtf?
Leveraged genocide. Raise them to the age where they can go fight and get killed for the country’s stupid offensive.

And I have much more to say but for many reasons I just won’t. Those who know what’s going on in Ukraine last 2 years know already and those who don’t haven’t cared all along and I don’t want to hear bullshit from them. Really sad to see the ignorance and other words that I shall not say about what’s happening in Ukraine but I won’t get into the details. Those who know understand perfectly.
Edit – just was on another sub and they posted a good article about Russias constant desire do annihilate/genocide Ukraine. This isn’t new yet ppl sleep and worse, which ventures into the territory I won’t get into. If ya know ya know.
