It’s about priorities and threats. Russia is a massive threat, and China is a menace in the SCS. Those have to be addressed militarily. The rest are just minor inconveniences.
The West simply will not accept that a significant share of the world wants their control of the world to end, and are increasingly willing to take risks to accomplish this.

Politicians in the west are more concerned about their own popularity. As it pays the bills.
War isn’t popular with Western leaders, as their dumb, lazy, self-important support base, would happily roll over for some Russian dick, if it meant their party would stay in power. Literally, the personality of some people is literally their political party. Trump would turn a blind eye to American special forces getting executed against a wall by invading Russians/Chinese. And publicly state that they were woke traitors, that deserved it for allowing America to fall. And Trump/Republicans would be cheering that the woke special forces were all executed, and would totally ignore children getting violated.
This is the clown world we have nurtured, by allowing business interests to florish over public education.
Nothing has ever been more true. We need to unite to fight evil and hit them hard.
American government knows and knew about it long before this conflict happens.
It’s nothing more than stupid party vs party that’s preventing full US support overseas. Once that changes.

Problem is that the West has too many ideological allies of Putin to allow it to form a comprehensive response. A perfect example is Republicans sabotaging US aid to Ukraine.
America is the only nation to have used Nukes. They would again.
I believe they’re all collectively gearing up to do what their respective plans are at the same time but not directly. So for example, North Korea -> South Korea, China -> Taiwan, Iran -> Israel, Russia -> Ukraine. I think they are all attempting to stretch the U.S. thin logistically to achieve their respective goals without angering all of NATO. Essentially just seeing whose going to run out first
And if you take Putin and Russia out of the equation, the whole plan falls apart. That’s what people never talk about. Putin is the instigator and key to most of the unrest in this world. He and his regime HAVE to go or there will never be peace on this planet
The new and improved axis of evil, the free world needs to make sanctions stick.
Yet the Republican Party is trying hard to make the U.S look weak and unreliable. Putin expects the Republicans to be loyal follow orders.
Duh. Iran is a strategic partner of Russia. They both target America. Russia supplies Iran with technology, airplanes, tanks. Iran supplies Russia with drones and missiles. Russia needs less pressure on their army in Ukraine, Iran complies, their proxies attack Israel and our shipping.
NK ships missiles and ammunition to Russia for cash.
The countries everyone agrees are working to damage and attack America, NK and Iran, are Russia’s main partners. They do nothing for us. China is buying all the cheap Russian oil they can, and they are a strategic adversary, but they are not shooting at us.
Putin hates America and world to diminish us every day. Unfortunately, we have to deal with our MAGA fifth column.
