1. chinese cameras 100% do this lol, pretty well known thing. Sketchy cameras doing sketchy things. There are people that showed off ‘cracking’ into those networks and viewing whomevers cameras randomly

3. All Chinese equipment does this.

5. Don’t buy CCTV or anything else containing a computer from China. China will weaponise whatever they have access to.

6. This would be very, very bad for Chinese made electronics.
   Lately we hear of Samsung intelligent TV’s whose processor is hijacked, collecting and transmitting 3GB of data through the home’s modem … Three gigs of data is a whole lot of programming.
   Now Chinese made security cams might be invading our privacy, not enhancing it. Chinese electronics market could go up in smoke. Overnight!
