Oh, he is worse than just being a silly Doomer. He managed to misrepresent NASA for crying out loud, and has pimped nearly every bad idea that has come down the pike.
Ugo is just being Ugo, apparently when peak oil went south on him he tweaked the idea just a little to make it Seneca’s fault and pimped that for all he was worth. He is fairly harmless, and is on occasion intellectually honest. Nafeez hasn’t ever appeared to have that characteristic spanning what, a couple decades now? He does write well….so he is sort of like a honey trap for those who just love the sound of what he is selling.
