1. There are many other activists and political prisoners going on hunger strikes today to protest executions. People like Toomaj Salehi, the rapper who has been tortured and jailed has announced his hunger strike.

3. I’ve always felt a lot of sympathy for many of the people in Iran. I remember being touched by the movie Persepolis and I’ve always hoped to see things improve there. It’s sad how hopeless it seems. So many protests squashed in brutal ways over the years.

4. I want proof that the officer he was convicted of running over actually existed. Proof that it even happened. People on here are saying it’s a made up story, it never happened. Did he run the cop over or did it never happen?

5. Nice gesture, but they don’t give a crap about women so it won’t be a loss for them

7. This might be the one Middle Eastern country where if the US attacks the end result will be more Japan/Korean vs Afghanistan.
