Ukraine’s ammo shortage becoming more difficult by the day. Around Bakhmut an M109 position we visited only got smoke rounds. The division commander says the current ratio is 10:1 in favor of the Russians.

1. Maybe a stupid question: How difficult is it to set up domestic production of rounds? I’d guess the technology is much more simple, compared to other military products (fighter jets, tanks etc.). Is it more the access to technology and knowledge that is the bottleneck, or more a lack of resources (materials, money)?

5. Am I stupid here or what’s the point in telling media you have no artillery rounds or that you’re running low? Wouldn’t that be counterintuitive for Ukrainian military? Pretty much saying we don’t have ammo, please come and attack us.

   You don’t see russian media writing about running low on supplies in some area.

6. I’m starting to hate our western leaders, while good Ukrainians are dying every day to protect their nation and the rest of Europe our politicians are sitting there with their thumbs up their stupid fucking asses doing nothing, by now Europe should have started mass producing ammunition and drones but instead we have seen nothing but useless promises and not enough action. WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO HELP AND YET WE DO NOTHING!

   Meanwhile reports are coming out about European companies still providing Russia with vital equipment for making weapons and our politicians are just allowing this to happen, the companies who are doing this need to be stopped and the people in charge of them need to be locked up for life for being traitors.

   I would not blame the Ukrainians if they ended up hating us at this point.
