NVA claims that it “puts socio-economic responsibility high on the agenda” and it’s “not a neoliberal party”. It claims to be “inclusive” as well.

Neoliberalism:
NVA practices almost all key strategies of neoliberalism.
Reducing Public Expenditure, relentless capitalist policies, a diversion from government ownership, privatization, and changes in government spending to stimulate the private sector.
https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/economics/neoliberalism/
Some shady private government deals as well, vastly common in neoliberal countries.
https://www.journalismfund.eu/supported-projects/land-invest-gate-lost-millions
laissez-faire is also major practice, like their hosting relations with certain companies, Ineos etc.

Inclusion:
NVA antagonizes Walloons, immigrants, leftists, “woke”… since several decades.
Let me know if you need a source, it’s quite obvious. Start with the “woke” book of BDW.

No.
Politicians being dishonest? Does the pope wear a funny hat?
Is any party honest?
And neoliberalisme has proven to be great for society /s
Also funny how they pretend to care about climate (Nuclear centrals everywhere!) but mostly focus on making fake promises of planting more trees while letting companies pollute more.
I guess it helps that “Natuurpunt” was created by a flemish nationalist like them.
According to your judgment probably not.
According to others, yes?
What’s the point of debating such inane questions “is vooruit socialist enough?” “Are the VLD truly liberal?” “Is VB a facist party?”
They put out a program and they have key personalities defending it. If you don’t like the program or can’t stand the candidates, then don’t vote for them?
NVA is the political branch of the Antwerp business world. I don’t believe anything they say.
Before the elections, when they were part of the federal government, they were against any reforms of the pension rules. You could read this on their website.
When the government was formed, with N-VA as the biggest party, one of the first things that got pushed were pension reforms. They added 2 years of work until you could get on a full pension. I went back to their website. And where they once mentioned to be against pension reforms, it now stated they were for reforms because … reasons.
N-VA cannot be trusted!
Party X is dishonest in its campaign.
STOP THE PRESSES
Edit: fragiel partijslaaf ego. Geestig.
I do not disagree with you..but honestly…wich of the parties is?
… Dude, really?
No.
Cuz brussel-halle-vilvoorde.
Are politicians honest?
You for real?
It’s the same party that pushes confederalism at every turn “to make Belgium more efficient” even though they know quite well confederalism is the worst possible system for efficiency (and that as a consequence there are no confederations in action today, apart from some aspects of the Belgian and EU systems of government).
Our dated collectivist policies failed with stratospheric public debt, state overreach, lack of competition pushing prices higher than all our neighbours and continuously declining competitive posture. I’d take ultra-neoliberal policies any day comparing to the slog we have now. Also, yay to nuclear power.
Oh a right wing party blatantly lying about racist turbo capitalist agenda? What a surprise…
Remember that this is the party that crashed a federal government over a non-binding pact that they had actually had a hand in negotiating. How ANYONE can trust these shits is beyond me.
you expect any politician to be honest?
If I say that I don’t like the cultural differences with “the Muslims” or “the blacks” and that they cost too much money than I’m a racist.
When I say the same things about the French speaking Belgians then it’s official government policy??
Am I the only one having trouble finding a viable party to vote for ?
Really difficult to pick any party at all between people who piss on police cars, keep cocaïne at home, promise a lot and don’t do anything ,…
