  1. Too late for it, China already got all the signals it needed.

  2. I mean, there is certainly something to that. China gets to watch what the world does in the face of naked aggression. Meanwhile, Ukraine shares a land border with a couple of NATO countries who also have a problematic history with Russia. If the West doesn’t step up for Ukraine, are they going to step up for Taiwan? Even if they wanted to, what does supporting Taiwan look like if China can gain enough control of the island fast enough to make the waters around Taiwan contested? How would an American-led coalition really support Taiwan by sea and air more effectively than NATO is supporting Ukraine with rail and road access?

  3. Of course it would – there is nothing more important for the US and Europe right now that the Ukraine war victory.

  4. Russian victory would telegraph to all the bad actors the West can’t keep their commitments

  5. We vowed to come to Taiwan’s defence. Not Ukraine.

  6. UK lecturing countries on taking other people’s territory.

  7. So do something about it then ya piss weak cunts? Where’s the longer range missiles, arty ammo, drones, tanks, IFV’s?

  8. It’s almost like the 21st century Allies haven’t learned lessons from the late 1930s.
