Hi guys,
We are renovating our kitchen ( old building 1970s -Geneva ) and the electrician let some cox/ wire outside the wall. I find it odd as he is charging for the line and apart for the socket.
He said that those will gonna be covered by the kitchen furniture so wont be visible, and the socket and the light that are visible are in the wall…
I’ve never seen this before and also first time i am doing renovations… any thoughts? Thanks

  1. This is normal and what we do in every kitchen. The kitchen furniture has a space at the back for stuff like this or water/gas.

  2. So glad this isn’t a “I just moved in and my landlord left me this mess!” post.

  3. It‘s normal, there is space behind the kitchen furniture
