TIL there’s a Derry and a Londonderry beside each other in New Hampshire, US. Why don’t we do this here? Split it in half and the people that want to live in Derry live there and the people that want to live in Londonderry live there? /s

Or people just live where they are and call it what they want.
Simpsons did it!
I drove through there (probably 20yrs ago) saw the signs pointing in opposite directions at a cross roads. Hilarious. No one else on the trip got the joke.
Unfortunately this was pre-camera phones otherwise I’d have taken a photo.
Whichever American came up with this idea is an excellent satirist
I feel like this island has already tried splitting things in half and well…you know.
Grass is always greener… can you imagine the arguments over which side should be which? People like to disagree and moan especially when it rains a lot…
Let’s people who want londonDERRY go to London
Looks like someone has seen the VASAviation video lol. Just noticed it myself.
Londonderry is shit. Just a strip mall and a few chain restaurants.
Derry is where it’s at. Typically quaint little New England downtown area with a few bars, restaurants and a music venue too.
First potato planted in America was in Derry also 👍
Direction of the interstate looks like a stroke!
Partition within a partition
Yes but do you refer to them as Derry/Londonderry because Derry is higher up on the map, or Londonderry/Derry as reading from left to right?
