  18. How are they do the targeting? It is just line of sight with the missile finding the target at close range either with radar or electro-optics? The Bab Al Mandan strait looks to be around 15 miles across. If that the place where the attacks occur. They can’t target a specific ship over the horizon can they?

  19. As per title ‘worst Middle East conflict in decades’ … Like this isn’t even remotely true. I am going to take ‘decades’ to be two decades. Conflicts that happened (that I can remember) in the last 2 decades:

    ISIS conflict

    Syria civil war

    Yemen civil war

    Ongoing kurdish insurgency in turkey

    2006 Lebanon war

    Iraq war

    If you expand to the Muslim world you also get Somalia and Sudan conflicts

    Imo all of these are worse conflicts than the Houthi US conflict

  21. As a Navy vet, I fkin hate Yemen. They have been the biggest pain in the ass and threat since they supported the bombing of the Cole. Then they fired on Mason in 2016 randomly. Now the Carney has been engaged.

    If I was in charge we’d get real freakin UN-proportional real quick.

  24. These are the worse global crisis in decades, and the Russian-Chinese “No Limits” Pact kicked it off.

    That it isn’t any **worse** is because of Ukrainian sacrifice and Russian incompetence. Otherwise the both Russian and Chinese war machines would now be working in unison on both sides of the globe.

  25. As a former sailor that served on that ship good job to that crew, good job to that warship.

    It makes me proud to see her defend herself, but it would make me even better if the US admin would take the leash off and allow her to fire back even more.
