  1. I love Xavi and unless we miss out on UCL qualification, I think he should be given one more shot. That being said this sounds like what an abusive partner would say to you

  2. Man regardless of what happens, he did what nobody could have done for Barca. Brought it back from the lowest of low with nothing to gain in return (minimal wage)

    At this point nothing can tarnish his legacy as a coach in my eyes.

  3. It’s a bit odd for him to say while on the job. I mean, I could see Pique or Busquets saying it since they aren’t around anymore, but since he is still here…

    Nonetheless, I’ll always miss the player he was. I’ll always appreciate that he came when no one else wanted.

  5. He’s basically saying hopefully our next coach sucks, because if he’s good we wouldn’t miss him lol. Don’t think anyone would have thought missing EV would be a real thing when he was still in charge.

  7. I dont understand why this potential exit has to be discussed in every interview. Xavi is being too emotional about this.

    Just say we have a job to do and leave it at that. Of course we will miss him and be sad if it doesn’t work out but id rather the team focuses on turning things around instead of accepting mediocrity and being sad about it.
