Been re-listening to ‘west Cork’ this week since his death, and Jesus he comes across so egotistical.
One thing I didn’t remember from the first time listening years ago was his memory. Everything that helped his case he could remember with perfect clarity, but anything claimed by a witness he couldn’t remember happening.
It has made me believe even more that he done it.

Of course this was going to happen anyone with half a brain would know the investigation would continue.
He likely was dumb and definitely narcissistic enough to hold onto potentially damning evidence. Really hope we can all get some closure soon.
Woops! Horse is gone. Oh well, lets close the barn door.
Why not search when he was alive? It was confirmed no documents or confessions were left for when he died
Will they just convict now that’s he’s passed away for handiness and to close the case
Wow I wonder did he leave a journal or letter behind confessing
No witnesses, no physical evidence, no confessions…Time to let it go lads

Always wondered if he had something vital that would exonerate him.
What bugged me about his case was that he courted the publicity. He loved it, revelled in it and I think he loved the notoriety and the is he/isn’t he puzzle.
He also struck me as a coward, who would do anything not to go to prison. He wasn’t a stupid man but I’ve always had the thought that he wasn’t intelligent enough to keep that flirtation going without having an ace up his sleeve.
I’d be interested to see what they find. Might even be the gate.
Stinger, they have to read through all his poetry and prose.
Now that he’s been cremated it might give them the impetus to investigate this crime like real detectives and bring him to justice…..
gardaí seize files to settle lord hawhaw claim… xou couldn’t mske it up.
I’m sure Gardaí have done their due diligence before he croaked. /S
There was some twitter account or site that I ended up on last week and they were accusing him of talking to young girls with screenshots of it
