Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani reported income near the federal poverty level for 2023, according to financial statements filed Friday.
The documents were filed Friday afternoon in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In a financial affairs statement, Giuliani said he made $18,480 in gross income between Jan. 1, 2023, and Dec. 21, the day he filed for bankruptcy. The federal poverty level for last year was $14,580 for individuals, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
The personal lawyer for former President Donald Trump also reported a gross income of $200,000 for 2022 and -$55,511 for 2021. He cited income sources from the previous three years as Social Security benefits and distributions from his pension and IRA.
Giuliani listed more than $10.6 million in assets and nearly $153 million in liabilities, and a monthly net income of just $2,308.
He FA’d and now he’s FO.
So he’s buying his Starbucks coffee with our taxpayers money too?!?…..how far right extremists republikans 101….when they talk about ‘wasting money ‘ they always mean only on workers benefits….their handouts are a ‘necessity ‘….🔥
He should have known that Trump would stiff him for his attorney fees. Of course no normal person would hire a clown like Rudy to legally represent them. The good news here is that maybe other Trump sycophants and liars will take notice.
He could have made more money as a public defender than as the president’s personal lawyer. Lol.
Meh, he’s got 2 kids, he can go crash on their coaches or something. Millions of Americans have to, and his lousy policies and incompetence is partly to blame. In Rudy’s case it’s his own damn fault.
I wonder what he has hidden abroad? Trump will never help him.
