  1. Being on the wrong side of war crimes is the *Labour Real Change* that Britain needs.

  2. “Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer can no longer remain silent on the atrocities being committed in Gaza. They must back an immediate ceasefire now.”

SNP Westminster Leader @StephenFlynnSNP responds to the ICJ ruling on Gaza.

  3. [The court did not order a ceasefire](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-68097640)

    > There was a lot of detail there. Here are the provisional measures the court has made:
    >
    > 1. Israel must take all measures to prevent any acts that could be considered genocidal – killing members of a group, causing bodily harm, inflicting conditions designed to bring about the destruction of a group, preventing births
    > 1. Israel must ensure its military does not commit any genocidal acts
    > 1. Israel must prevent and punish any public comments that could be considered incitement to commit genocide in Gaza
    > 1. Israel must take measures to ensure humanitarian access
    > 1. Israel must prevent any destruction of evidence that could be used in a genocide case
    > 1. Israel must submit a report to the court within one month of this order being given
    >
    > The court also expressed grave concern about the fate of hostages being held by Hamas and called for their immediate release.

  4. Appreciate “immediate ceasefire” is the SNPs line because it gives them space to attack the other two parties but hasn’t Starmer already come out and said they need a “sustainable ceasefire” several times? The semantic difference being that sustainable means a ceasefire which neither side will immediately go and break. A challenge when Hamas themselves keep saying “there will be no ceasefire”.

Before someone calls me a mass murderer I fully agree the violence and bloodshed should urgently end but it feels like the SNP are just playing this semantic point scoring game to try and draw a bit of attention ahead of the as yet undated GE.

  5. When is Russia’s day in court over the it’s genocide in Ukraine?
