I fucking hate Leno for so many reasons (Conan) but this is awful and I hope for the best for him.

Had the opportunity to spend a little time with Jay and the man loves his wife more than any man I’ve ever seen. This is awful.
My grandmother passed away last week from Alzheimer’s. I wouldn’t wish this disease on anyone or their loved ones. Good luck to him and I hope he gets all the help they need.
They’ve been married for 44 years, together almost 50. What a terribly sad way for things to end. I wish it had been kept private, but knowing now, I hope there are still moments of mutual recognition and love.

I was a little kid many many many years ago and remember Mavis Leno doing a fundraising (I think, again, it’s been 30+ years) for girls schools in Afghanistan and it was the first time in a pre 9-11 world I had ever heard of the Taliban.
This is a cruel thing to report on, especially given that conservatorship = abuse is something that has been promoted as an idea to the same audience.
