Tankers with Russian oil stuck near South Korea due to sanctions. 14 tankers, including 11 Aframax ships and 3 VLCC oil carriers, loaded with 10 million barrels of Russian Sokol crude oil have been standing near the coast of South Korea for several weeks. They are still not sold due to US sanctions.

The longer they wait the more the missing profit will be. Their whole grey fleet should end up like this, it would cripple their finances in no time
Not only are those cargoes not sold, but the ships can’t go about being productive elsewhere with other (unsanctioned) cargoes.
That’s good math.
