Hostage relatives storm Israeli parliament meeting
Dozens of family members of hostages, believed to be held in Gaza, have stormed an Israeli parliament committee meeting in Jerusalem, demanding the release of their relatives.
In recent days, calls for action and protests have intensified, as relatives of hostages demand the Israeli government take stronger measures to secure the release of their loved ones.
On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the new conditions set by Hamas to end the war in Gaza and release the hostages. Hamas’ conditions include maintaining control over Gaza and that Israel withdraws completely. In response, a Hamas official based in Qatar said that Netanyahu’s rejection of ending the military offensive in Gaza, eliminated any possibility of the captives’ return.
