    If I am not mistaken, he, the POW, is using incorrect insignia which is a grounds of him not to be under the Geneva Convention protections.

    Further, russia does not abide Geneva Convention.

    Alternatively, this is not a very motivated russian soldier, not very bright.

  6. Few months after the war started I went to a military surplus store here in the states to buy stuff for my cousins who were fighting on the front line. Ran into the store owner and he said some of the largest orders for US gear were from russian business men. Blew my mind especially since this is after sanctions kicked in.

Had they realized you would have to assume the least of what they would do is give him endless shit and make him take it off.
