I remember when that place used to be a rowdy pub with a theatre above it.
Like this does not apply here, but there should be a law that residents who live in a new build which is next to an established club or pub should not be able to complain about the noise for 50 years from when the new build is built.

Seems like there likely is an issue and the restaurant is trying to feign “look at posh people being unreasonable”
Unless we know exactly what is happening it’s hard to really pick a side
100% believe the neighbours. Mestizo might have even taken their soundproofing expenses as a reason to turn the volume up
