  1. All eastern flank of Nato is getting massive military investment.

First was Poland, then Romania and now Greece.

  2. Shoring up the militaries of eastern NATO allies is a good thing. This is a big fuck you to turkey though, no matter how you look at it

Edit: Just to clarify, I have no problem with a big fuck you to turkey every now and then

  3. Can a s400 even intercept a Iskander or kinzal? We know the patriot can, and I can’t help but wonder if turkey really sacrificed getting f35 for a system with a bit more range but less capable to play both sides and got the short end of the stick. Also wonder if Russia has asked to transfer it back?

  4. Wow. I’m sure Greece is very happy to receive those.

  5. Something tells me that they want Greece to give the 500 L1s to Ukraine and they are trying to make a sweet deal to make it happen.

  6. Man, these gratis offers are getting wild. I’m happy to get an extra 30g of nutella for free…

  7. Another victory for Europe’s military independence. The majority of European countries will depend on the United States for their air forces, using aircraft without access to software and relying on the USA for maintenance.

  8. Seems like they waited till Turkey signed the approval of the entrance of Sweden to NATO to do this deal.

  9. I don’t know why but I can’t take Calibri serious anymore. I kinda think there should be an official font for government stuff. It doesn’t have to be Times New Roman but something serify would seem more official.

But thinking there might be contracts set in Calibri makes me uncomfortable. Then they should go all in and use Comic Sans.

  10. They are a strategic ally that gives us a safe jumping off point to the middle east. This arrangement is very beneficial to both countries.

  11. There’s something about the font and layout about this letter that make it seem insincere.

  12. We need a Greece-Ball, who hapilly flies an F35 and an angry Germany-Ball on the ground.

  13. This looks like some shit somebody typed up in Microsoft Word at not the state department lol

  14. This great but, let’s say, the fact the document is written in Calibri makes it a bit less serious.

  15. Why does this look like a high school essay lol.

Isn’t there a more official looking font?

  16. I wish the entire EU would take their defense obligations as seriously as Greece and Poland

  17. Does this mean Greece will have excess stuff to give to Ukraine and this is why US is being so “generous”?
