They played only 50% of the games of course, but it shows some attributes where our guys are improving/declining for now.

  1. Dimarco is an interesting one.

    Beginning of last season Dimarco would fail to take his man on and pass him, usually being bodied by the opposition. As the season progressed he stopped trying to take his man on and instead pass the ball to the midfielder and move into space. This really showed with his performance going up.

    This season he finds himself in acres of space because of our passing and transition. Dimarco also releases the ball a lot earlier and as the play progresses, he will find himself already near the oppositions box ready to whip in his cross or carry it further for a cross as well. So he has definitely improved his attack game by keeping it simple yet more effective.

  2. Why is expected goals or assist so high? Like 80-90? Percent chance they’ll score a goal per match?
