Great – now we have plastic rocks. Like with the unnatural levels of GHG in the atmosphere, this is another product of the fossil fuel industry. And as we try to clamp down on the GHGs, the industry is shifting its profit center to plastics, adding to an insidious new problem while policy is distracted by trying to solve the first.
But then… maybe a nicely plasticized planet will prove to be very resistant to global warming. After all, plastic ecosystems are tough, just like our unbreakable plastic bottles!
