Seen in the highlands yesterday!

Is this the wild haggis I’ve been told to look out for in Scotland?

  1. *Wee, sleeket, cowran, tim’rous beastie,*

    *O, what a panic’s in thy breastie!*

*Thou need na start awa sae hasty.*

  2. Nah the wild Haggis are rounder have 2 legs and tend to tuck and roll to move.

  3. My first thought was an otter, which I think is really cool. I’ve never seen one in the wild

  4. Is that the Loch Ness Monster? Smaller than I thought it would be.

  5. It’s a curried haggis , just like a haggis but a little otter.

  6. No… a wild haggis would have attacked for sure. You’d be lucky to be alive if that were a haggis.

  7. Wow. Scenery looks so beautiful. Hoping to see it in person, one day.

  8. Going to be at least 3 more months of winter going by the testicles on the lil fella.

Did you try feeding it some Maltesers?

  9. Read the beano and the McTickles.

There’s you’ll see stilt legged McHaggis and the legendary Harris Tweed McHaggis. Whom obvious went around in Harris Tweed suits.

    Then there were the McHaghorse.

We lived in Scotland many years around the borders and saw many of these beautiful creatures.

Further south now but still in the Northern Wilds and we get the wild spams running around. Where else would the spam fritters come from!!

Forgot to mention that I’m very partial to a haggis supper.

I’m a frequent hiker and use Berwick as my base. There’s a chippie that does rather nice haggis suppers. I prefer not to have salt and sauce tho.

I’ll be there when the season (hiking not haggis) starts again in a few months

  10. If I see an animal on the road like this I tend to blow the horn and make a lot of noise to try and frighten them off the road. If that’s not working get out and chase them off the road.

I just reckon they may think twice about coming near roads and cars in the future. It’s usually youngsters who haven’t learnt yet. Once came across two badger cubs who were playing in the road, rolling around.

Looks like an otter to me.
