  1. What a surprise. As if Ireland was ever very concerned about Hamas.

  2. Lots of money to fund underground tunnels in Gaza but no metro In Dublin

  3. Thanks for continuing to fund Hamas, Ireland. Awesome. What else do we put on the shopping list? Al-Qaeda? Hezbollah? Houthis?

  4. It’s not like a couple of UNRWA workers posted on insta shit..they were active in an attack on the innocent civilian population..go back to potato farming Ireland..

  5. What else to expect, Ireland is virulently antisemitic. they also enjoy animal abuse, so they’d feel right at home with creatures like Hamas

  6. Well that’s not very surprising, they love glorifying terrorists

  7. How come we’re the only EU state (except maybe Belgium) that isn’t a complete lickarse for the Zionists?

  8. Omg the saltiness on this sub around Ireland is hilarious.

Some people literally bring up the Neutrality in WWII.

  9. Ireland really shooting itself in the foot here.

Why not, give an Irish citizenship to the Oct 7 massacre UN staffers.
Show them what real support is.

  10. Ireland really is living in fantasy land. There is a large scale imperial land grab going on in Europe, they barely give a fuck.

But supporting terrorists is somehow a great thing to do.

  11. Good.

I’m glad we aren’t taking a knee jerk reaction on allegations that just came out today about 13 members of a 30,000 staffed UN organisation.

  12. Good, i hope we increase our funding to help make up for other countries pulling out. People in gaza need aid, especially food and water, depriving them of what little they get now over what seems to be a handful of accusations makes no sense.

  13. I promise you, most of us are furious about this. The Palestinian nonsense has been occupying the minds of our politicians for far too long. There have been speeches in the Dail about it whilst we are in the middle of a cost of living crisis and whilst Russia is waging a genocidal war of annihilation right here in Europe.

I will certainly be voting against any TD who puts the interests of middle eastern terrorists over those of their fellow countrymen and EU allies

  14. Who would have thought Ireland would become a sponsor of terrorism, good job Ireland

  15. It doesn’t matter if you support Israel or Palestine, donating money directly to such “organizations” will only make more bombs and give the mfers sitting in Qatar skyscrapers more luxury.

  16. Stopping aid means people will die in Gaza. It’s that simple. Hamas have their hands in everything in Gaza. It is unavoidable. They run shit there. The sooner they are gone, the better. But we don’t have the liberty of denying Palestinians aid when over 25,000 have been killed, the majority of which civilians.

Anyone claiming Ireland is “supporting terrorism” is a fucking moron and needs to give their head a wobble.

  17. I wonder if Ireland should really continue being a member of the EU. Their ethics seem to be quite questionable.

  18. Apparently you can’t provide any aid funding to Palestinians but you can fund and support the following:

    – Indiscriminate bombing of thousands of people including children.

    – Bombing places of respite and shelter.

    – Bombing of hospitals and ambulances.

    – Bombing of universities, schools and museums.

    – The building of and enforcement of checkpoints.

    – The building of walls to separate communities of one people.

    – The continuous building of illegal settlements, supporting and aiding by the use of violence.

    – Hundreds including children arrested and imprisoned without trial.
    – The targeted killing of journalists.

    – The murder of foreign citizens.

    – The withholding of water and food to starve people.

    – Shooting down fleeing civilians.

    – Shooting civilians and then preventing ambulances attendimg to them.

    – Snipering women seeking shelter in church.

    – Prior to that targeting said church’s water supply.

If your Israel, you can do any of these things, it doesn’t matter. We will fund you and support you. Everybody else is a ‘terrorist sympathiser’.

EDIT: For Israel: it’s ok to have prime ministers, politicians and military commanders who used to lead and be part of terrorist organisations – (Irgun and Lehi – designated terrorist by British, responsible for bombing of King David Hotel, assassinated of UN representative and British Minister of Palestine,. perpetrators of massacres such as Deir Yassin.)

The current Minister of National Security is a convicted terrorist. This is all fine for Israel. For Palestine, kill all their women, children, destroy their hospitals, and all infrastructure, stop the water and food because ‘terrorist’.

Condition for Palestine, remove terrorists, same condition for Israel? Nope, never. Can’t say ‘From the to the sea’ for Palestine but can say ‘Between the sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty.’

At least have it both ways or at least just be honest and say we either don’t care for Palestinians because their Muslims (although there are Palestinian Christians) or they are brown people so we don’t care. Or Israel is an ‘ally’ so they can do what they want. In which case, if you want to be an ally for a country like Israel then good luck or your politicians have been bribed by the Israel lobby.

  19. Thank you, Ireland, one of the few sane voices in Europe.

  20. Ireland is isolating itself on the world stage with its blatant support of terrorism.

  21. Birds of feather flock together.

I am not surprised Ireland supports these terrorists.

  22. It’s a sad day to be Irish, we are aligning with Iran, Russian, china and South Africa

  23. This subreddit is self-destroying into a cesspool of mental retardation I did not think was possible. Apparently the Irish are now “terrorists” according to most people (or bots) in this comment section. I’ve also seen literal calls for terrorism against the UN. Disgusting trash.

  24. I’m embarrassed to be Irish sometimes. Lots of people do not understand this conflict at all.

  25. What happened this sub?

And what do the US, Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany and the UK hope to achieve by ‘temporarily’ suspending humanitarian aid?

What investigation are they waiting for the conclusion of before they resume aid?

I’m sure they’re very concerned about the Palestinian situation and the rule-based international order.
