I’m sad to see him go because he had a lot of potential, especially after last year. But at the same time it’s the right decision. In any professional sports project, but especially as a football coach, stubbornness and tenacity are very bad qualities. On the one hand, they hinder progress and on the other hand, they hide potential mistakes from you because you don’t want to see them. To cling so convulsively to a vision that clearly doesn’t work is simply wrong. A good coach builds a team from his players, not imposes an ideology on the whole team
