this is the new Zählerschrank, and I need to open it to check the numbers. I remember the installers said there was a manual, but they put it inside the locker… there’s something like a locking mechanism on the left, I press on it and try to pull, but it’s still locked.

It is probably not locked, just stuck.
These doors can be quite stubborn especially when somebody removed the door for maintenance earlier
Ours looks about the same, it opens when you open the lid and turn it clockwise, doesn’t hurt to give it a try.💁♀️

Turn the “knob” counter-clockwise and pull. It’s probably stuck a bit.

Edit: Ah, no. Don’t turn, just pull out the knob and pull the door.
