What are Romanian thoughts on federalism? Such a change to the constitution could possibly address the Szekeley concerns while allowing a framework for a future reunification with Republic of Moldova.
The downside being of course that this region of Europe may not be so democratically mature to allow local politics that much authority. I could very quickly see populist (Kremlin-backed?) premiers arise in some regions.
