I don’t go out um because I don’t have the funds to go out it’s you know sitting down and sort of working out what can I do without um in order to keep things going it’s you’re heating you’re eating your showers or food a single parent working parttime

  10. The main thing causing all this is inflation and profiteering. It’s eating away at everyone’s disposable income. All you have left is to spend on essentials and that’s it and I’m on 40k a year!

  12. Majority of working population and those on state pension have a very low disposable income. Falling inflation is still rising costs, month on month compounded. Maybe top 40% have sufficient disposable income to go out.
    The USA economy is booming and pay is rising above inflation, more disposable income is a better economy. The poorest and small businesses circulate wealth the wealthiest do not.

  14. Here we go again, blame the government. I work extremely hard, never been sick and taken extremely hard exams all my working life to keep my qualifications, I've never had anything off the government except some child benefit in the 90s. I despair at this country.

It's also the govt unacceptable policy they let foreigners in and than provide them all kinds of benefit while their own citizen by birth end up in extreme poorty.tgrde western countries keep increasing taxes on their citizens ,and spend their tax dollars in U.KRANE.ISRAEL.OR WELFARE CHECKS TO ILLEGAL MIGRANT.

I bought petrol is a nearby town the other day for 135.9 yet the shell garage closest to me is charging 149.9 – it doesn’t sound like much of a difference but it means these big companies are making soooo much extra money and it’s taking £20 a month from all of us which could be used towards more food etc

  20. I hate to say it….but this is a madness. She has a home and a job and is well fed all on a part tine wage! If her biggest issue is she cant go out, she aint got no issues. We are so spoilt in this country its actually ludicrous.

  25. Literally existing that’s all life is now, no money to do anything with, and it seems that’s the way the government wants. And they wonder why shop lifting is through the roof. All we see is huge companies not paying corporation tax whilst we choose between food or warmth. Most ministers have fingers in multiple pies and have back handers to push for companies best interests. They don’t work for us and are not interested.
