I live next door to 2 Ukrainian kids, they literally went from speaking not a word of English to speaking like a local in the space of 2 years, kids are amazingly adaptable.
Very cool story, but I would expect a teacher to know a difference between kid not speaking a language and being stupid
My German colleague showed me one of his videos. Over his shoulder you could see an entirely soulless, featureless housing estate and I said: that’s Ireland that is. Felt like some mad geoguesser type.
First time I heard him speaking in his actual accent was a watershed moment for me.
The read & ride mix up was very funny
My mind is blown! 😮
Ah he tells that story well. Found myself smiling throughout without realising. Funny guy.
Wasn’t he told that an Irish accent would just confuse Americans?
“WHAT DA HAYE-EL?!?!”
it’s so jarring to hear someone say the r slur these days, i didn’t think that was still a thing people said 😳
I can’t believe this! He is an absolute sensation!!!
