Whelp. Fuck Traitor Joe’s then.
But how? The article never listed the argument about how the NLRB is unconstitutional.
I’ve already written off Publix for their fascist fuckery, guess I’ll have to write off TJs now too. Oh well.
Shame I might have to stop shopping there.
That’s the real danger of the current SCOTUS. With these recent cases on federal regulatory power, they’re likely to send us even deeper into a corporatocracy in which big businesses can overrule any law or regulation they don’t like. Since SCOTUS is essentially untouchable, they’re the ultimate investment for businesses to control.
Just your friendly reminder that Trader Joe’s is owned by Aldi. A private company started by two nazi brothers after WW2.
Given the hippie-dippy crunchy clientele I regularly see at our local trader joes, this seems…. ill-advised.
Trader Joe’s better be careful. They’re beloved, but easy to drop if they’re busting unions.
Ah, corporations rushing to remind us that, yeah, there really is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Fuckers.
Note, Trader Joe’s joined up with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and their mutual law firm, to eliminate all regulatory oversight and eliminate the NLRB.
> SpaceX claims that the NLRB violates the constitutional separation of powers as well as the right to due process, calling the board “the very definition of tyranny,” as Politico recently reported.
> An attorney for Trader Joe’s said one of the companies defenses against union-busting charges is that the National Labor Relations Board is unconstitutional.
>
> Like Trader Joe’s, SpaceX is represented by Morgan Lewis. The firm is known for its management-side work helping employers battle unions. Some of its highest-profile attorneys came out of the NLRB and served as conservative board members.
This gonna be good.
Wtf TJ’s
Great. Trader Joe’s is evil. Rad.
So they are almost as shitty as the produce they sell
No need to argue anymore…actually no need for courts anymore since Rs decided Supreme Court decisions were only guidelines
Guess I won’t be shopping at Trader Joe’s anymore
I don’t shop at Trader Joe’s because I’ve never seen one with more than a baker’s fucking dozen parking spots and without those thirteen or fewer spots in an area where only seven or fewer cars would fit, but now I’m also not shopping there because of this shit.
[deleted]
When they bust unions, I buy my cheese elsewhere
Damn wish I had a Costco
Guess I am not shopping with TJ anymore.
Well, looks like I’m not ever going to a trader joes. Fuck union busters
Trump supporters think Traitor Joe is the guy currently president
Didn’t trader joes used to have a reputation for being a good place to work and good to its employees? This is a wild reversal on that.
At this point, someone needs to publish a list of the companies that support the people who do the work and allow them to have their cushy, lucrative desk jobs. So many companies to avoid, some I even like, now TJ’s added to the list.
TJ now dead to me.
The [Wikipedia page](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trader_Joe's) currently says “ In 2024, Trader Joe’s joined Elon Musk in a high-profile lawsuit to have the National Labor Relations Board, which enforces U.S. labor law in relation to collective bargaining and unfair labor practices, deemed unconstitutional.[8]”
Please remember that Trader Joe’s crew members are not Trader Joe’s corporate.
Please do not take out your anger, not matter how righteous, on the crew.
Everything that makes people’s lives easier is communism.
Come on, Trader Joes, don’t do this shit.
I guess Trader Joe’s is the same as Walmart
Awh… no… please not TJ’s… sigh
Corporate ass-hats, if this is true (and I will check) , TJ’s is a big no from me and I will let them know why…
Joined the Trader Joe’s team in November and thought I was working for a good company with solid morales. Shit.
Company doesn’t want to follow regulations. More breaking news at 11.
Three things the rich hate: taxes, unions and regulations. All designed to protect and contain greed so of course they gotta go. Everything belongs to us.
I’m so fucking sick of damn corporations ruining this country
I guess I no longer feel bad about Trader Joe’s never building a location on my side of town.
Traitor Joe’s
TJ, know your fucking audience.
Yikes, this one stings. I already haven’t been going very often lately though, kind of got out of the habit .
GOP realizing that their hellscape vision for America wasn’t able to accomplished via the executive branch or the legislative branch. They’re going to do as much damage as they can through the judiciary. Ironic since this conservative SCOTUS in the last decade has been of the mind of “Well if congress intended for that they would have made a law for it.” Now it’s “Fuck congress, the law and any precedents, and ethics for that matter. The framers didn’t mention X in the constitution so it’s unconstitutional.” Today X is basic labor rights.
Does Trader Joe’s know who their customers are? This ends with them losing a lot of money as 90% of their shoppers dump them
Corporations need to make more billions, fuck paying the people
Farmers market.
Welp, fuck off *Traitor Joe*
TJs might want to check with their PR team given their customer base
Company that’s had to do numerous recalls due to rocks and shit being in their food against regulatory measures?
You don’t say.
Well, so much for shopping at TJ’s. Damn.
