Kuki and Meitei people had problems in past yet it wasn’t such severe, until the fascist Gobar Bakths took power of India, now there are communal and religious violence every where, except Kerala.

Meitei entered the abandoned Kuki village with ease. They probably thought the Kuki didn’t see them coming or Kuki won’t dare to attack them since Meitei usually attacked Kuki settlements in large numbers.
So, these guys not only put their guard down, but wanted to show off to their folks through social media and thus paid the price.
