Does not get any worse than this. He’s sat there defeated, battlefield torn to shreds, trees splintered, bodies half buried everywhere everybody around him dead. The battle is over and it has gone quiet, he’s just sat there defeated and alone. Then, a grenade lands on his lap OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE.
That’s the definition of hopeless. If it wasn’t so morbid and brutal it would almost be comical.
There are so many dead bodies strewn around that dude to begin with…
