Has any politician ever seen their political currency fall so fast as Nicola Sturgeon?

  1. I wouldn’t especially say it’s fallen. She left, much mud thrown, nothing stuck so far. I’d say politicians who resigned due to scandal or crimes have seen their stock fall far faster.

  2. Blair with the Iraq war. Basically went from untouchable to massively hated by a large proportion of his former hardcore voter base.

The living standards for the average Brit increased so much under Blair, and if you take services, education etc into account its probably the zenith of living standards for the average person in Britain, but any discussion of his legacy is always tainted by Iraq.

  3. I’d say Blair, Bush, Clinton, Nixon, Thatcher, Cameron, Miliband, Truss, May… should I continue?

  4. Yes, Liz Truss was PM for only 44 days, after she ruined the country’s economy,

Nicola Sturgeon was first minister long enough to see several westminster PMs come and go

  5. That depends if the public is so easily fooled by an orchestrated campaign by a determined status quo and the usual suspect press to assassinate by all nit picked means, by hysterical innuendo, and howled slung mud, to destroy the reputation of someone who stood head and shoulders above them all as a leader.

The twisting of her private texts that assumes politicians are not human and should speak like a character out of an Enid Blyton novel like the rest of the Machiavellian hypocrites, whether we are to believe she is suddenly a fraud and thief despite no charges forth coming, and whether we all fall for the ridiculous narrative of tenure failure.

Led by the unionist darling and Daily Record editorial spokeswoman Dame Baillie, the architect of the Scot lab/tory coalition, known liar and shit stirrer, the unionist pummelling of reality to a malicious over the top degree is so blatant and full on that it only fools those ignorant of the last 16 years of Scotlands political reality.

Bailley and Co trying to turn mole hills into Everest sized scandals and straw clutched failure narratives by constant hysterical hyperbole as a barely disguised revenge mission should he showing us all what happens if the Scots ever again contemplate individualism and bespoke politics outwith Westminsters hand on the throat grip of us.

  6. Muammar Gaddafi went through phases of popularity but ended up being chased down a sewer and brutally murdered.

  7. I can’t think of another british politician more overrated than sturgeon

She was an ineffective campaigner for independence and not much good on anything else either yet was being touted as some unstoppable progressive force and untouchable leader by certain crowds

  8. Boris Johnson went from 80 majority to quitting before he was suspended pretty quickly.

  9. So fucking many. She’s just the latest in a very long line.

  10. I have the feeling that the best is yet to come, despite her attempts to dissapear from the public sphere…

  11. Her husband bought a camper van and she called Boris Johnson a rude word. Amazing how the UK media have managed to spin that into a scandal.
