  1. Is Laporta really going to sack Xavi right now?

  2. I think we’re past the point of blaming the team and Xavi. This is on him now.

It’s obvious but there are two outcomes. Xavi gets sacked and Laporta has a huge job in front of him.

Or he decides to keep Xavi and essentially throw away any chance of remaining as president because I feel like culers have had enough.

My gut is telling me that Laporta will stick with Xavi and he’l have essentially 3 days to sell half the squad and buy a new one with what little money we have left.

Clocks ticking Joan, get the coffee brewing and order a pizza because this is going to be a long 3 days!

  3. If Xavi is sacked, I hope that kicks the players into high gear. They are an absolute disgrace too!

  4. I don’t know really what to say about this situation… Today’s result wasn’t entierly Xavi’s fault. However, we should be able to perform much better against Villarreal who have struggled a lot this season. We went 45 minutes without having a good chance inside of the penalty area. That has been one of the biggest issues this season.

  5. I hate how we play, more often than not. But sacking Xavi is not going to change that, certainly not in the middle of the season.

  6. I think for now Xavi will continue, there’s no one to replace him mid-season

  7. Some media are saying that Laporta is not going to fire Xavi due to subsequent compensation for the remaining year. On the other hand, they expect him to resign, it should be noted that Xavi has not yet come out to give the press conference. Sorry for the english. 🫣

  8. They better be discussing who will suck Klopp’s dick

  9. I don’t think he will be sacked, but Laporta is playing with fire.

Font (or many other people) could come up any day now with a no-confident vote. The situation and results are so dire that it could catch on fire quickly.

He needs to start making decisions, or be clear to the socios and inspire confidence.

  10. Some changes have to be made. Some hope needs to be picked up. These cannot be easily pulled off by changing tactics or players, but changing the coach can. It’s possible we get even worse after changing the coach, but the hope is still there. Not changing the coach, there is not even hope.

  11. Im a liverpool fan its pretty simple, sometimes teams narrow down their manager searches too much. When the new owners came to liverpool they brought in 3 british managers in a row because they wanted british managers, none of them worked out. They also tried to keep signing british players, and most of them failed.

Barcas problem is they only hire managers who played for the team. They dont go for the highest quality guy in the market, theyd rather just get somebody familar to them. They are also stuck in this idea of playing the “barca way” which doesnt matter in 2024 because every team plays the barca way now. They need to just look for a quality guy in the market rather than only look at former players.

  12. Xavi announces that he is leaving the club on June 30th.

  13. We just have no confidence, we look scared out there, we look lifeless. This team needs psychological help

  14. give xavi one more season and put a good team of assistants on the sidelines.
