Euh, I think they should do something like this. I have some colleagues who work here for +30 years who can’t speak a word of luxembourgish even though our company offers free lessons. I have been learning for a few weeks so I’m nowhere near fluent but I can already have basic conversations and stuff. It’s kinda disrespectful to move somewhere and just refuse to learn the language. If I’m in my country I’m expecting people to speak my language
People really think Luxembourg is offering all these jobs to non-luxembourgers only to do *them* a favor. Hilarious.
Already a big big mistake in his first Luxembourgish sentence…. Actually the very first word is wrong!
I‘ve seen some dumb petitions on the Chamber website, actually most of them are delusional but this definitely takes the cake. For those unaware, all petitions, whether stupid or not, are being published on the website of our parliament. Even if they‘d find enough idiots to sign this, this would get thrown out the minute it actually reaches parliament. Would be great if we invested cleverly in promoting our language because I can‘t lie it would be nice hearing a bit more Luxembourgish around the city center but a petition from some clown who’s got a bit too much free time certainly won‘t help with that.
