  1. >Premier Chris Minns has warned police could tear the balaclavas off Nazis gathering in NSW and expose them as “massive racists” to their friends, family and colleagues following their occupation of a Sydney park on Sunday morning.

    ….

    >It comes two days after police stopped a group of men in similar attire at North Sydney Station while they were on their away to Australia Day events in the CBD.

    >Minns said the “fascist, ridiculous behaviour” had no place in NSW and warned police had the power to rip balaclavas off people and expose their identities. “You’ll be exposed as a racist to your family, your friends, your work colleagues,” he said.

    >The premier said many of the neo-Nazis gathering in Sydney over the Australia Day long weekend were from interstate.

    article continues…

  2. Even if your views were Nazi-aligned, why would you use the branding? It’s basically comic-book evil at this point.

  3. Do it you cowards. Let society see who they really are

  4. It’s funny how scared fascists are of having their political beliefs become common knowledge, almost like they know how broadly despised they are even though they always claim to represent the silent majority.

  5. All these groups use the freedom they have in democratic countries to promote totalitarianism. From a guy that lived more than half of his life in a totalitarian communist dictatorship, don’t be tolerant with the intolerant. They will contaminate your society and then when in power will piece by piece remove any freedom you have. Shit can get really dark. These people are the enemy of life.

And for people that think they are kind of right I will tell you they will use a truth to sell you thousands of lies. They will use you and if you disagree down the road with anything you will be then discarded and added to their endless black lists. Then you will be seen as the same thing you thought you were fighting against.

There is never a good end with them.

  6. As they should.

Now let’s do that in the US and expose the Nazis here too.

  7. Why do they pretend to care? They had no problem with the “Gas the Jews” chants from the pro-Palestinians, and they have no issue with “From the River to the Sea” or other chants calling for Israel’s destruction. Australia, just stop trying to appeal to Jews and go full-on Nazi-Islamist-fascist.

  8. Draw a line in the sand, give them more attention, polarize polarize polarize. Great.

I have zero zero fear of nazis or neo-nazis.

It’s amazing how silent everyone is about real threats.

  9. I’m an American but I would reckon that these Aussies were also like the rightwing shitbags that refused to wear masks during Covid claiming that they couldn’t breathe. But now that they are trying to hide their identity they love wearing a mask.

  10. I know we’ve had neo-Nazi views in Australia for decades but does anyone think that this kind of gathering has being influenced directly or indirectly from the US? Feels like it’s right out of the playbook of groups over there.

  11. Fuck NSW government is weak as piss put the fucking water cannons on them.  If they were fossil fuel protesters they’d send in the riot squad.

  12. Was I the only one who’s first thought upon seeing the thumbnail image used was “Woah, Matt Smith sure hasn’t aged well…”? >.>

  13. This is the right approach. We shouldn’t need to police or ban dumb things like Nazi salutes, but we should definitely be able to rip away peoples anonymity when they’re being dangerously anti-social.

Yes you can parade around like a fascist piece of shit if you wish but the rest of the society has a right to know that you’re doing it.

  14. If wearing a concealing burqa is the right of Islamic women and not to be messed with, how are they going to mess with removing masks from neo-Nazis without infringing their rights?
Not saying they don’t deserve to be unmasked, just saying that forcibly unmasking folk is a legal grey area.
We’ll need some very clearly and cleverly written laws to cover it. I don’t believe any current government is capable of doing it in an enforceable manner.

  15. People deserve to know who their real enemies are.

  16. So we gonna name and shame the Palestinian protestors that lobbed flares at police too, and were also calling for the massacre of Jews. We gonna unmask them or….no?

Because if we unmask one hate group, we should unmask all hate groups.

  17. Named and shamed is one thing, but let’s face it, the only good solution for a nazi involves rope, lead or voltage.
