And, Affordable Care Act rules state employee coverage should be less than 9.12% of your income; that’s the maximum, most people pay even less. An income tax for 14% is therefore higher than the cost of insurance.
I’d refuse to pay so they have to bring him back to life.

My idea is that if I ever get an outrageous medical bill, I’m just not going to pay it. Send it to collections, I don’t care. I’d rather negotiate with the debt collectors, at least they’ll give me like 50% off if I pay in full.
Every time people mindlessly invest in an S&P 500 index fund, as they’re told to do by countless “financial gurus”, they are actually investing / lobbying against universal healthcare and all manner of policies that would benefit them, contrary to their own actual interests as well as the interests of their communities and the nation and arguably species as a whole.

The world that we have been made to “invest” our money and lives into creating is an abomination and a crime against humanity.
The “financial returns” from investing in an extremely corrupt, profoundly idiotic and self-defeating, and self-cannibalizing society aren’t worth it.
