  1. > Herzog had said at that briefing that “[Gazans are] an entire nation out there that is responsible… This rhetoric about civilians not aware, not involved [in the October 7 onslaught] — it’s absolutely not true.”

    > However, he qualified those statements in the same speech by stressing that “Israel abides by international law, operates by international law. Every operation is secured and covered and reviewed legally.” He also said: “There is no excuse to murdering innocent civilians in any way in any context. And believe me, Israel will operate and always operate according to the international rules. And we do the same in this battle, too.”

    > “I was here, in this very hall, a few days after the terrible massacre, when I was asked by the world’s media about the situation in Gaza. I replied that the widespread civilian support in Gaza for the crimes and atrocities of October 7 could not be ignored, and that Hamas operates from the heart of the civilian population everywhere, from children’s bedrooms in homes, from schools, from mosques, and hospitals,” Herzog said Sunday.

    > “But I added and emphasized that for the State of Israel, and of course for me personally, innocent civilians are not considered targets in any way whatsoever,” he said. “There are also innocent Palestinians in Gaza. I am deeply sorry for the tragedy they are going through. From the first day of the war right until today, I have called and worked for humanitarian aid for them — and only for them. This is part of our values as a country.”

  2. And he’s right. The only people convinced by any of it were the TikTok university scholars & self proclaimed experts on the Middle East.

  3. “All gazans need to die!! ^(Disclaimer, Israel follows international law, uwu)”

No, it doesn’t work like that honey

  4. What? The anti israel coalition are willing to lie? What?

500 people died in that hospital bombing by Israel, I will hearing nothing else.

  5. The fact is that Netanyahu has won, as Mearshermer and others have pointed out, October 7th has effectively killed any chance of a peace process or two-state solution. You now have a situation where two people’s hate each other to the point where peace is completely impossible. We are decades away from any peace, assuming it is even possible.

To Netanyahu the Israeli deaths caused by Hamas are a price worth paying to achieve his ideological aims. In fact, as many of the Israeli’s murdered and raped were “leftists”, he and his right-wing allies likely see it as a very big win. The left offers no counter to Netanyahu’s narrative other than whining, no proposals or ideas. The left and right are both cynically eagerly exploiting the rise in anti-semitism to further their own ends.

And around all this you have Iran, Russia, and China eager to keep the conflict going, Europe exposed as weak and irrelevant, Netanyahu’s ally Trump heading back into the White House.

  6. What a piece of shit. See you in the Hague, dipshit.
