Hi,

I have been thinking for some time about equipping my car with this [Mobileye Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS)](https://cellnet.de/produkt-kategorie/mobileye-6-serie/) as an aftermarket accessory.

I have found this German service [CellNet.de](https://cellnet.de/produkt-kategorie/mobileye-6-serie/), which sells the system with installation in place (in Germany).

Has anyone tried this, maybe with a Swiss vendor that does the same as CellNet but in Switzerland? And does this “modification” require some legal approval?

  1. My two cents here: I think if the system is piggybacking, then there is no need for legal approval, provided that the Mobileye system is legal in the EU and Switzerland.

    To be specific, what kinds of features it provides? Is it only an enhanced ADAS or a system similar to Tesla’s FSD?
