According to reports from AS, their hunt has finally borne fruit. Los Blancos have completed the signing of Illia Voloshyn, the 17-year-old Ukrainian starlet who is considered one of the world’s brightest shot-stopping talents.
They reached an agreement with Rayo Majadahonda to incorporate the star until 2026 and all formalities have been completed.
Lunin is one of Ukraine’s best goalkeepers and has established himself as a strong competitor to Kepa this season. Real Madrid’s new youth signing, incidentally, happens to be his compatriot.
Illia Voloshyn will travel to Madrid on Wednesday to sign his contract and officially be unveiled as a new Real Madrid player. Needless to say, he is expected to play with the Castilla first before making the move to the first team.

Well “traveling” from Majadahonda to Madrid isn’t really much of that, it’s part of the city.
