That “news” is from a few months ago, and the government is still “planning” to legalize on the first of April. So nothing new about it and no reason to post this now.
Also, won’t mean that you can just buy weed in certified shops, it just becomes legal to own and use cannabis. Where can you get if from then? For most people, it will probably stay the illegal drug markets.
You also can join “Cannabis Clubs” but those are not allowed to sell weed and it’s rather complicated. Or raise plants by yourself (and only for yourself).
Is police in Germany chill about weed in general or was that just my limited experience in Leipzig/Hamburg, is it different elsewhere?
Chill as in walking past ppl who are smoking and completely ignoring it, ppl smoking in bars openly etc
