It’s unlikely that De Zerbi is a viable option because he has a contract until 2026, and considering Brighton made Chelsea pay 20M for Potter, Barcelona might not afford such an expense for a coach.

Going to Barca is going to be a death sentence for any manager for the next couple of years. I would wait until the teams finances are in order to bring in a top manager prospect. Barcas better off getting an established manager willing to be a sacrificial lamb, or a young manager who is willing to grow with their team.
Prepare for “XXX is very “high” on Barcelona’s list” news until summer.
Last I heard he was struggling hard against low blocks, does he still do?
Also Brighton can’t keep a clean sheet ever. I think he would be a good choice but let’s keep that in mind
