  1. On her Instagram (which is now private), Spears praised Timberlake’s new song, “Selfish,” while also apologizing for “some of the things” she wrote in her memoir, “The Woman in Me.”

  4. The people who came for JT obviously didn’t read her book. She gave Justin a lot of grace in her memoir. I blame the media and fans for being selective of the stories she shared. She doesn’t need to apologize for anything she wrote.

  5. I’m glad she did this. The ‘fans’ seem to be extremely toxic, but in the way little children can be because they are unaware as to the unwritten laws of society.

    Basically stop blaming people for toxic behaviour and bullying by exhibiting those same toxic behaviours and attempting to bully them. Also leave Britney out of it, she’s trying to maintain her peace the best way she can.

  9. This makes me genuinely sad, because this isn’t new. Britney may be losing herself slowly, but I believe every word of her book was truth. At least about shit like Justin. But public pressure is making her retreat back into herself. It’s understandable, but it’s also what people like him LOVE.

  10. So now if someone should search for Justin Timberlake online for whatever reason, they will find this story about Britney adressing something that internet discussed to death and forgot all about months ago, instead of the divorce rumours that were circulating (again) a few days ago

  17. Have her fans seem to have forgotten the mantra “My body my choice”. Timberlake is what he is, and he may have said those things (which given their age at the time was he really wrong?), but the final decision rested with her.

  20. Yeah but tbh her book while it could’ve been worse about Justin sent a witch hunt after him whether she meant to or not. Complimenting him isn’t gonna make him return your calls because I know I wouldn’t have. Her memoir addition probably could’ve been left out considering it’s private details between those two
