  1. Because the Norwegian government has decided this is a good use of funds.

Why has it decided this? From your link:

    >UNRWA has 30,000 staff across Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank including East Jerusalem, and Gaza. 13,000 of these work in Gaza to distribute aid, save lives and ensure the population’s essential needs and rights.

  2. Just like I don’t want my tax money to go to corrupt Ukrainian pockets

  3. You should def call skatteetaten and tell them where you want you tax money to go.

  4. So, it’s 12 empolyees out of 13 000 in Palestine (most of the employees palestinians themselves, living under harsh, violent, racist occupation) *accused* by Israel of in some way being part of Oct 7th, and they have already been suspended or fired. This accusation coincidentially comes just as the International Criminal Court has ordered them to take more care in not hurting civilians, and let more aid through.

Besides stopping aid through UNRWA is again collective punishment of the civilan Palestinians for something they took no part in, it’s also extremely dumb and shortsighted: It plays up to the narrative that the Western World does not really care about human rights if you’re not *one of us,* not white enough, not rich enough, and it gives a free gift card to possible other interested parties (China, Russland) to increase their influence in the Middle East.

  5. If the two countries literally supporting both economically and political Israel ethnically cleansing Gaza, pulled support, they probably need more support.

  6. Untill very recently your tax money has also gone to support organisations like Alliansen. At least UNRWA are mostly doing useful things.

  7. 12 of 13 000 employes are reported to be linked with Hamas. This is was Israel has accused them for during there case with South Africa, Great timing.

And why will the majority of the West sanction Them now, during a genocide. Why not wait for this massacer to end. Then investigate and Block the support.

Many top politician and army officers in Ukraina is caught for corruption, shall the West stop the support maybe

  8. UNRWA is a peaceful organization. Tell Norway to stop funding terrorist israel.

  9. Sure ! goverment should specially ask you but only you where it should go.

You seem to be the most smart human😂😂😂

  10. I can’t find it at the moment, but there was an investigative article published a few years ago, maybe 2019, that did a deep dive into what UNWRA funds and humanitarian aid was used for, as well as school curriculum. A good portion of the actual curriculum was basically jihad, and most teachers had connections with hamas. I’ll try to find it again, it wasn’t a big news story, unfortunately

  11. Whenever you see Zionism, you’re sure to spot racism at the corner
