Leaving poland today, how bad is it if I ignore this?

  1. Well, if I see it correctly, it is KW 92, so you didn’t stop in your vehicle when you should have. They can theoretically give anything from stern warning up to 5k fine. If you are leaving, it mostly depends on if they can somehow get a hold of you. You got it in mail so they have your adress?

  2. You can go to the police center to explain yourself and feel sorry, this usually results in a small fine or a stern warning. If you ignore it, they will fine you a higher amount.

  3. You probably parked your car somewhere you shouldn’t have and they’d give you ~100 PLN fine or something like that.

  4. One thing it’s not the police, its Straż Miejska – they do traffic violations and sometimes help police with minor stuff. And this thing is for a parking offense, not a crime so ignore them. If you come back they might mail you a fine.

  5. They will most likely sell this to a debt collection company. If you cant make it there then just dont, chances are the payment is too small to chase you down in another country and still make it profitable anyway.
